Malta, Czech Republic sign multilateral tax agreement

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) announced that Malta and the Czech Republic have signed the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters. The announcement was made at the Global Forum meeting in Cape Town, South Africa.

OECD Deputy Secretary General Rintaro Tamaki said that ”The Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters is a powerful tool that reinforces international cooperation to target tax evasion and avoidance by both individuals and corporations.”
